As an organization rooted in Catholic faith, the South City Catholic Academy (SCCA) Athletic Association attempts to further and foster sound athletics through a sports program that promotes good sportsmanship, respect for authority, and self-discipline. We offer several sports your child can participate in, including basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, volleyball, golf, and track. The SCCA Athletic Association is supported jointly by Our Lady of Sorrows (OLS) and St. Joan of Arc (SJA).
Participation is open to children attending SCCA, living in the OLS and SJA parish boundaries, or registered as parishioners of OLS and SJA. Instructional leagues are available for children in preschool, 1st grade, and 2nd grade for soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball, and for children in grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for golf. CYC teams are available for children in grades 3rd through 8th for basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, and volleyball, and CYC golf is available for children in grades 5th-8th. Please visit the SCCA Athletic Association Facebook page (currently in work) for more information regarding sign-ups, upcoming tournaments and events, and Spirit Wear.
