The Ambassador program is an archdiocesan-wide program designed to develop both leadership skills in middle school students and community relations. 7th and 8th graders are nominated for the program by the faculty and staff based on their potential in the areas of responsibility, service, and attitude. Students who are Ambassadors represent our school in a variety of ways including giving tours to families interested in sending their children to OLS, writing letters to the community on behalf of OLS, working at school functions such as the auction and trivia nights, and decorating the school corridors. Many of our grade school Ambassadors continue their leadership in high school either again as Ambassadors, as members of Student Council, or in other positions of leadership. We at Our Lady of Sorrows School are proud to present our Ambassadors as role models for the younger students and as examples of our school motto in action: Restoring the Vision: Reverence, Respect, and Responsibility.
