Goals:

  1. Students will master addition and subtraction facts to 18
  2. Students will add and subtract up to 3 digits with regrouping or renaming
  3. Students will demonstrate telling time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour and 5 minute
  4. Students will apply skills in naming value of, and counting coins
  5. Students will recognize basic shapes

Subject: Music

Goals:

  1. Student will learn songs in different meters, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4.
  2. Students will reinforce reading of quarter notes, eighth notes and quarter rests, adding half notes and dotted half notes.
  3. Students will learn hand signs do-re-mi so-la and high do–the pentatonic scale.
  4. Students will explore music as a part of society.
  5. Students will study an opera.
  6. Students will prepare music as needed for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
  7. Students will prepare service music and hymns for Liturgies.

Goals:

  1. The students will develop and understanding and respect for differences among people in physical activities.

  8. The students will live as Christians throughout the year with the help of Christ’s presence in Mary’s prayers.
